Mountain Secure Systems has spent over 15 years specializing in the art of ruggedizing mass memory storage devices, with a focus on optical technology. Magneto-Optic (MO) is an established technology that has proven itself in many varied applications. Inherently rugged optical media, with current capacities to 5.2 gigabytes per 5.25" disk, operates over a broad range of temperatures. Optically recorded data cannot be accidentally erased by stray magnetic fields and, of course, removable media cartridges provide virtually unlimited storage capacity. |
