Since our inception in 1985, our focus has been creating cost-effective,  rugged,  reliable  electronic  systems for harsh environments.  We have recently added to our capabilities by offering a complete line of wireless products for security, surveillance and communications systems. Offering ruggedized disk drive solutions ranging from submarine-based data-collection systems to mission-critical data logging on the space shuttle, we engineer our rugged hard drives for superior performance and durability. Mountain Secure Systems, a subsidiary of Phillips Service Industries, Inc., was founded with a vision of the future of rugged mass storage that helped us pioneer the concept of rugged Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) products. From the early years supplying SEL-2 WORM Optical Storage Systems to the U.S. Department of Defense, to military-grade drives for Tornado aircraft of the U.K. Royal Aircraft Establishment, to Solid State Memory on F-16 radar systems, Mountain Secure Systems drives have performed flawlessly in many diverse applications. Mountain Secure Systems Facility

 

Mountain Secure Systems moved into their new facility in Longmont, Colorado in February 2008. The move was a response to our rapid growth in both the military and commercial markets  and the addition of wireless products to our growing line.  Over the last year, our revenues have quadrupled with the advent of new contracts and expanded market offerings.

 

The new, state-of-the-art facility affords Mountain Secure Systems greater space, more capability and more room to grow. Along with a more efficient layout, the new facility houses the very latest in manufacturing, R&D, and testing equipment.

 

Sharing the new facility is Mountain Secure Systems' manufacturing partner, Talon Technical, a manufacturer of custom-machined components. Both companies are subsidiaries of Phillips Service Industries (PSI), a world leader in providing products and services to the Aerospace, Defense, and Commercial Aircraft markets.
